Friday Favorites from Etsy
One thing I love about Etsy is that you never know what you are going to find. I enjoy finding new shops or artists and so I decided to share with you some of my recent favorite finds. I am in this metallic mood, so I have been drawn to gold leafed or items finished in gold or brass like this spotted gold leaf vessel by the object enthusiast or these geometric trays by the vintage vogue. I love soap and I love giving it as gifts so these beautifully wrapped ones from Amumii Naturals would be perfect. I've already shared my love of all things dipped so I am drawn to everything in the Jac and Jill shop, but these Shibori tie dye pillows in this lattice pattern is so me! I hope you have enjoyed my new finds and hopefully found something you love, too.
Celebrating the 4th in Style

The event of every Summer is hands down the 4th of July. The quintessential 4th celebration includes at least one of the following: a long weekend, barbecue and/or grilling out, picnic's, road trips, family, fireworks and the stars and stripes. My favorite 4th's have always been spent with my family, usually outside with some sparklers and good food.
To get you prepped for the upcoming festivities I picked out some fun red, white and blue finds. How will you celebrate this year?

We've been having so much fun with our guest stylist Cinne of by Cinne Worthington for the past 3 weeks and Outfit #4 is another crowd pleaser! We'll be doing a visual recap of Cinne's previous 3 selections so that you can share your most FAV outfit in the comments!
So - which of Cinne's outfits is going to be your favorite? Such a tough call! In this week's ensemble, Cinne helps us get our retro-hip-modern groove ON. Each outfit is inspired by an item and if you had to guess - which item would you say got her creative juices flowing? Did you guess the bookmark art collage? You got it! You can see the cross over here and how Cinne draws upon the colors and floral motif, but then she mixes it up by going clean and modern with her handbag selection. Super fun! This look has such a clean feel about it that touches upon the vintage, but keeps it fresh with her accessory selections. Once again, Cinne adds her magical eye for color and pattern combinations to yet another smashing and funky outfit!
Don't forget that each item is available for sale on Etsy! Connect with new shops and find some cool items which would literally take you ages to find through Etsy's overloaded searches. Cinne has amazing style and we want you to connect with her finds, so make sure you follow her Pinterest Board for some stylish inspiration!

We look forward to seeing which outfit you select and a BIG, BIG, BIG Thank You to Cinne for sharing her eye for style with us for the whole month! We've had a blast!
Our Elite16 June Etsy Style Guide Winner IS...
Our theme for this month was Summer Solstice Celebration and it prepared us for this classic summer celebration on June 21st. Our team of curators took us inside Etsy with their unique styling and finds and we had so many beautiful and creative collections to choose from. We both shared our list of favorites and agreed on this winning collection Summer Haze by Helen of Etsy shop Cloth and INK! Helen's collection will soon make you forget the sweat beading off your body as she soothes the heat with cool pinks and blues for a stunning celebration of summer! Congratulations Helen - such gorgeous styling and use of bright summer colors!

With over 60 Style Guides to explore, our team presented comprehensive and easy to use shopping guides. That's close to 1,000 hand selected items from Etsy to make searching for something you LOVE that much easier. Be sure to check out the entire list as we'll just be highlighting a small selection here on the blog!
A close runner up was this collection below by Caroline of Etsy shop Romy and Clare, titled Axis. A unique angle on the meaning of the summer solstice and a creative way to pull together a collection! Caroline uses both color and geometric shapes to create a mood, which all tie in together with her main theme. From jewelry to home decor - Caroline has got it covered!
One thing that always spells out summer is a classic farmer's market where people meet up and shop locally. Ginger of Etsy shop The Living Earth Botanicals curated a really splendid collection which truly evokes the feeling of strolling around the various booths at your local farmer's market. Each of her selections will get you in the mood for summer and what better way to celebrate this time of year than at the farmer's market supporting your local community! Great interpretation of the theme, Ginger - I'm ready for a nice slice of bread with some of that jalapeno apricot wildflower jam!
Our next collection is by our guest summer stylist Cinne of Etsy shop by Cinne Worthington. Cinne has been treating us to a weekly summer outfit that she puts together with such a creative flair - you truly don't want to miss out on her awesome styling! Cinne has a natural affinity with color and this is evident in her collection below. Using the lush green tones of summer, she has curated a fluid and well balanced collection which stays true to her title Designing with Nature! There is so much inspiration to be found by just looking outside your window or going for a walk in nature - Cinne has captured that mood to a T. Love the flow here Cinne - your appreciation of the natural elements comes through beautifully!
We like to finish our Style Guide Challenges with a collection from our resident curator Jenn of Etsy shop Palimpsestic. Jenn always provides us with a complete experience of the monthly theme. She not only gets really creative with her titles, but she always backs up her theme with knock out selections. The end result is a style guide which will put a smile on your face and make your heart sing! At least it does mine! This month, Jenn takes us into an enchanted world which is evocative of the height of summer - the land of the fairies. What a truly unique way to celebrate summer and get out in nature - I'm inspired to go build a fairy hut and play in the woods now Jenn! Thank you again for making our monthly event that much more fun!
We look forward to seeing you here again next month as we enter into the month of July! In the meantime, be sure to watch for our Pinterest board by Helen - as our Style Guide winner this month, she'll be our guest stylist on Pinterest in July. Don't forget to check out our entire list of Summer Style Guides for inspiration and to make your shopping experience on Etsy super fun and easy!
