Design a Room- Giveaway Challenge Part Two!

On Monday we kicked off our first Lucky 7 Giveaway.  For January we are so excited to be giving away one of Jillian Rene Decor's color block pillows in navy and mustard. The other cool part is that this pillow is featured in the current issue of HGTV magazine!

We figured we would help give you some ideas of how this pillow could work in your space, hence the Design a Room challenge. Nanako showcased her Urban Modern Rustic room yesterday.
I love mid century design, so I took the color palette of the pillow and built the room around a deep blue vintage couch. Yellow may be too bold a wall color for some, but I think if you did this trellis design on your main accent wall it would really pull the whole room together.
Mix in some pops of white ceramics and bold graphics on your lamp shade and you have very modern room with mid century flair.
