Surprise!!  Congratulations to Amber of Etsy shop Red Tile Studio for the winning style guide Style me Rustic.  This is going to come as a huge surprise to Amber - why?  As organizers of this monthly event, it has been standard practice for both myself (Nanako of Etsy shop Pig and Fish) and Amber to exclude ourselves from the pool of potential winners.  However, following a suggestion made by Aki of Etsy shop oktak, the previous style guide winner, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to surprise Amber.  This is our way of thanking Amber for all her hard work!  She is a tireless leader with exceptional organizational skills and a devoted heart.  Amber is a huge inspiration and I could not think of a better way to thank her for all she does!  So...on behalf of the entire team of style guide curators - Thank You & Congratulations, Amber!

The goal of our monthly style guide challenge is quite simple - make shopping on Etsy easy!  Being shop owners on Etsy, we all have pages and pages of favorites - items that we've hand selected during our Inside Etsy travels.  We're sorting through those favorites and putting together theme based shopping guides with 16 selections.  By presenting them in our beautifully curated collections, all you have to do is click on an item and you'll be taken directly to that shop on Etsy.

By giving our team of curators a theme to work off of, it gives us all a common starting point.  This month's Etsy shopping guide theme was Harvest Your Style.  It's that traditional time of year for pulling up the year's harvest, so we put a spin on it as a way to explore each curator's unique style.  It's always so much fun to see where the inspiration will take them and Jen of Etsy shop zwzzy takes us on a journey with her collection Floating Gypsy!     With a bohemian flair, Jen is sensitive to the color palette of fall and presents her collection in a light and airy mood.   Don't you love the sense of mystery that accompanies Jen's style guide, leaving one to wonder where the road will lead.   You've truly captured a mood here Jen!

As the leaves change color and start to drop, the nights become filled with a crisp clean air.  The mood automatically shifts to that of getting comfy & cozy - putting warm knit scarves on, cooking a big pot of soup and by golly if you have a fireplace, nothing beats the pure delight of sittin' by the fire!  It's a highlight for those of us living in seasonal climates and Nichole of Etsy shop The Paris Print Shop sets the stage with her inviting collection It's a Fireplace Kind of Night.  During this time of year, nothing takes the chill out of the air like a warm fire to get roasty, toasty by.  Using a warm palette of ivory and chocolate tones, we are invited over to experience that cozy feeling as we curl up by the fire.  Get the fire roaring Nichole because we're all coming over!
